While most Bloomsburg University students were putting the finishing touches on their spring break, the university’s wrestling team competed at the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) Championships on March 7th. The team finished third with 88.5 points, trailing only West Virginia (95.5) and Edinboro (126.5). The third place finish was the best for the team since 1993, when they claimed the title.

The Bloomsburg University wrestling team lost an EWL match to the Edinboro Fighting Scots on Thursday, February 5 by a score of 25-12. The Huskies (7-7, 2-3) competed with Edinboro (10-4, 4-0), who are ranked 13th in the latest USA Today/Intermat/NWCA polls.

The new policy will restrict the hours during the school week when students can house guests and place guidelines in regards to the frequency of weekend visitors. Visitation guidelines will be implemented for non-hall residents and other guests during the week from 10 p.m. through 1 a.m.
