Toys for Tots Comes to Bloomsburg for Another Year

It’s that time again! Toys for Tots is coming to the university for another year of collecting toys and delivering them to less fortunate children in the five county area. Boxes were put out October 16th in the academic buildings and dorms then downtown on November 18rd.

The Great American Smoke Out is an annual event to encourage Americans to quit tobacco use, especially smoking. Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania will host the Great American Smoke Out 5K Sunday, Nov. 15, at 12:30 p.m. The starting location is the Bloomsburg Area YMCA, East Seventh Street.

Quest offers wilderness first aid course

Registration is open for an introductory-level wilderness first aid program sponsored by Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Quest program and presented by the National Outdoor Leadership School’s (NOLS) Wilderness Medicine Institute.
