The Bloomsburg Huskies baseball team has had a pretty rough season. The start of the season looked pretty good. With a four game season opener running from February 19 through February 21 in Hampton, Virginia, the team won two of their first games. Then the bottom dropped out!

Men’s Lacrosse, Near Perfect Over the Weekend

The first of the two games had Bloomsburg traveling to Williamsport to take on the Nittany Lions of Penn Tech. It was a fast-paced, highly offensive affair with Bloomsburg winning the game 11-5. Mike Vogan (Phoenixville, Pa.) had six goals and two assists, leading the team in points scored. John Lawless (Collegeville, Pa.) assisted on four of the six goals Vogan contributed, while Scott Radzinski (Flemington, NJ) helped out on the other two with nice passes from behind the cage.

Bloomsburg men’s Lacrosse finished .500 this  Sunday, dropping game one 4-3, against IUP and defeating Wilkes University 8-6 at Redmond Stadium.
The first encounter was with a defensively strong IUP team, whose goalie played phenomenal as he stiflied anything the Bloomsburg attackers threw at him.  However an IUP deflected  shot proved to separate the two sides in the end, as the Huskies finished up a hard fought game losing 4-3. Wilkes defeated IUP 5-0 in game two of the afternoon.
