Amanda Riley Earns PSAC Field Hockey Weekly Honor

AmandaRileyBloomsburg University field hockey player Amanda Riley (Tannersville/Pocono Mountain East) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for the period ending October 25.

Riley made it three straight weeks as the PSAC East Player of the Week after her efforts helped the Huskies to wins over Millersville and Mercyhurst to finish the regular season with a 18-1 record and on a current 15-game winning streak. She scored a goal in a 4-0 win at Millersville last Thursday and then scored one more goal in a 3-0 win at Mercyhurst on Sunday.

For the season Riley has scored a team-high 22 goals and has six assists for a team-high 50 points. The Huskies will play on Friday at noon against Mercyhurst at Shippensburg in the PSAC semi-finals.
