Cross Country Recap – Teams to Compete in PSAC Championships This Weekend
Take a look at how the season has progressed for the BU Cross Country team. The slideshow below consists of photos from the Husky, Iona and Penn State Invitationals, and are all provided by a team parent, Cathy Moyer.
The teams are scheduled to compete this Saturday in the PSAC Championships at Lock Haven University. After a fifth-place finish for the men and a first-place finish for the women in 2007, the two teams hope to follow up with two more impressive performances this year. To do so they will need to measure up against schools who have been looking very strong throughout the season, including Slippery Rock and Shippensburg. Lock Haven, Kutztown, Edinboro and California will most likely also be main challengers.
The men’s race starts at 11 a.m. and the women’s race starts at 12 p.m. Plan to attend and cheer on the team members. Directions to the course can be found at http://www.lhup.edu/sports/havensports//facilities/#XC%20Course.
